The Office actor David Koechner AGAIN caught drunk driving

Office actor David Koechner has been arrested again by authorities for drunk driving.

An Ohio State Trooper reportedly arrested him after seeing him swerve in the road shortly before 2 a.m. on June 4, a law enforcement insider told TMZ.

Koechner, 59, was ticketed for driving while intoxicated after the officer allegedly took a puff of alcohol on his breath.

The Anchorman actor, who was on tour in Ohio, is set to have a court date next month on the matter.

Less than a day after the State Trooper arrested him, Koechner hosted a The Office trivia party in Ironton, in the southern tip of Ohio.

His latest legal troubles come two months after he was charged with impaired driving and hit and run after being arrested on New Year’s Eve in California.

TMZ reported that the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office charged Koechner with both misdemeanor charges. The site noted that the artist would appear in court in “a few weeks” to determine whether or not he would serve his sentence.

Koechner was a first-time offender, so it was likely that he would receive probation and an alcohol education course, thus avoiding a prison sentence.

At approximately 3 p.m. on December 31, 2021, police in Simi Valley, California were called about an “erratic driver.”

Koechner was asked to complete field sobriety tests which he failed after allegedly hitting a traffic sign with his car. His vehicle was towed shortly thereafter.

According to law enforcement, he had two flat tires when he was pulled over and blew a .13 on the ground and a .12 at the station.

Records detail how he was taken to the Ventura County Jail at 5:15 p.m. that day, only to be released the following morning on New Year’s Day, just before 6 a.m.

His original court date was scheduled for March 30 in Ventura County Superior Court.

A day after his release from prison, TSWT.com obtained exclusive photos of the actor filling up a badly dented car at a Shell petrol station, although it is unclear whether the car was the one involved in the accident of December 31.

Sharing a video with his 115,000 subscribers, he started the reel by singing Three Dog Night’s 1971 song Never Been to Spain.

“In Oklahoma, not in Arizona. What does it matter?’ he crooned before pausing to say, ‘That means a lot. Why? I’m picking you up, Oklahoma City.

‘I’m talking about Thursday March 31, okay? And then we’re going to ride in April,” he enthused.

In January, the artist’s estranged wife, Leigh Morgan Koechner, asked a Los Angeles court to suspend her visitation rights with their five children following her DUI bust.

She also asked that “safeguards be put in place to ensure (Koechner’s) sobriety,” according to TMZ.

The actor fought the visitation request, saying neither of the former couple’s children were in the car when he was arrested for drunk driving on Dec. 31.

Leigh and David married in 1998 and share five children: sons Charlie and Sargent and daughters Audrey, Margot and Eve.

After 22 years of marriage, David filed for divorce from Leigh in 2020 and in his filing, asked for joint legal and physical custody of their three minor children at the time.
