Shamshera director Karan Malhotra reacts to the film’s failure and admits: ‘I couldn’t stand hate…’

Ranbir Kapoor’s action star Shamshera is said to be the ‘savior of Bollywood’. But Kapoor’s comeback has failed miserably at the box office. However, the director Karan Malhotra has expressed his opinion about his film and he has stated, “Shamshera is mine.”

Karan shared his feeling on Twitter in a lengthy message, saying: “My dear Shamshera, you are majestic as you are. It is important for me to express myself on this platform because here is where all the love, the hate, the celebration and the humiliation exist for you. “I want to offer you my unimaginable apologies for letting you down these past few days, because I couldn’t handle the hatred and anger.”

Karan agreed that he ignored his film because of its dismal performance. “My withdrawal was my weakness and there are no excuses for it. But now I stand here, hand in hand beside you and feel proud and honored that you are mine. I will face everything together, the good, the bad and the ugly.” He continued: “A huge round of applause to the Shamshera family, the cast and crew of Shamshera. The love, blessings and care that has fallen upon us are the most precious and no one can take that away from us. #Shamsheraismine #Shamshera .”
