He revealed in October that his wife’s ex-husband had moved into their neighborhood in Calabasas, California.
And Jerry O’Connell, 48, reflected on his wife Rebecca Romijn’s complicated feelings about her ex-husband John Stamos when she appeared on set of The Talk on Thursday.
The 49-year-old actress and model admitted she still misses the Full House star, 58, while revealing she finally saw him in person for the first time since their 2005 divorce.
Embarrassing! Rebecca Romijn, 49, has revealed to her husband Jerry O’Connell, 48, that she still misses her ex-husband John Stamos, 58, of whom she has “good memories”.
Midway through their conversation, Jerry had a sheepish smile on his face as he said, “This isn’t your…first tango with wedding.”
He shared that he first met the X-Men star while she was in the process of divorcing John.
‘You were disgusted about it. I saw flashes of depression,” he said. ‘I didn’t really understand. It must be hard going through a divorce.
She agreed that the process was “awful” and “terrible”, while noting that she and the ER actor had been in a relationship for around 10 years.
The two began their relationship in 1994 after they got in touch at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show where she was walking.
The two got engaged in 1997 and married the following year, but announced their separation in April 2004 and finalized the split just under a year later.

Difficult times: “Divorce feels like a failure. It feels like a failure, and there were a lot of things that I had to let go of that were very sad,’ she said.
She and Jerry started dating the same year they split, before getting married in 2007. They welcomed their 13-year-old twin daughters, Charlie and Dolly, in 2008.
“The divorce feels like a failure. It feels like a failure, and there were a lot of things that I had to let go of that were very sad,” she said of the difficult time.
Jerry seemed almost jealous later in the segment when he noted the affection Rebecca seems to have when her ex-husband is brought up.
“When I’m with you personally and I hear you talking about your ex-husband…it sounds like fun.” You still have really fun memories,” he said.
His wife admitted that she had “good memories” of that period and that there were “a lot of things about him that I miss”.
‘It’s delicate. It’s a very difficult decision to make when deciding to end a marriage. It was heartbreaking,” she continued.
Looking back: Rebecca admitted she had ‘great memories’ of that time and there were ‘a lot of things about him that I miss’
Celebrity sighting: The discussion about her ex-husband came shortly after Rebecca saw him for the first time in 17 years, although he didn’t seem to have noticed
The discussion about her ex-husband came shortly after Rebecca saw him for the first time in 17 years, although he didn’t seem to notice.
‘I finally saw it. I saw him just a few weeks ago – the first time since our split,’ she said. “I had the girls in the car. We were sitting in traffic after school at a mall and I saw it. There he was walking right in front of the car. Hood down. Sunglasses on. I went, ‘Here he is girls!’
Considering he was barely visible under the outfit, his daughters could hardly believe it was him.
“I said, ‘Girls, because I was with him for 10 years. I would recognize that move from a block away. I recognize the way his body moves. I know this walk. I know his body.
“Okay, this is getting awkward now,” Jerry joked to lighten the mood.

He was curious as to why his wife hadn’t said hello to her ex after not seeing him for over a decade.
“I didn’t think my hair was good,” she replied shyly, which made him laugh.
She added that she didn’t know what she would have said to John, although one thing was clear: “I sure wouldn’t want you there!” It would be his worst nightmare.
Jerry laughed again but insisted they were all “friends”, despite apparently not having been in contact for 17 years.
