Peter has been using the Mini all week after a thief smashed the windows of his own car, stealing his belongings, while he was on stage on Monday.

On Tuesday, Peter, 49, revealed he recovered several stolen items from his car after a good Samaritan found them strewn across a street.

Taking to Instagram, Peter filmed himself talking with George – the man who found his stuff – who he says has restored his faith in people.

Speaking to the camera, he said: “My faith has been restored in humanity because this lovely gentleman here, what was your name sir?”

“George found some of my stuff scattered on the floor. All this on this street here. He got in touch with the contact numbers there.

“I’m so grateful, I’m so grateful. It just goes to show that when some people do things that aren’t very nice, you get people in this world who are more than nice.

The hitmaker added that he wanted to give George something as a thank you for his kindness.
