Olivia Munn embraces motherhood in 2022.
The actress, 41, took to social media this weekend to post an adorable photo of herself snuggling up to her weeks-old son, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. Dressed in a pink sweatshirt and smiling brightly, Munn showed she was clearly in love with the newborn son she shares with comedian John Mulaney, 39.
Dressed in a gray sweatshirt and white sweatpants with tiny striped socks, Baby Malcolm looked just as cheerful as he was looking at his mother.
“Happy New Year,” Munn captioned the heartwarming message.
Munn and Mulaney had a lot of fun with their newborn baby, including sharing cute photos of Malcolm in a steaming pot as Munn’s mother made bánh bao, Vietnamese steamed buns.
Dressed in a jumpsuit emblazoned with “Future All-Star” on the front and a pacifier in his mouth, baby Malcom looked at his father, who supported the little one as he was placed in a potty.
“LOL Daddy’s new bánh bao recipe,” Munn wrote on Instagram Story.
In a second shot, Munn shared a close-up of their baby boy “adora-bao”.
Munn and Mulaney introduced their baby boy to the world on Christmas Eve with another adorable photo shared on both of their accounts. In the adorable photo, baby Malcolm is wrapped in a fluffy white blanket and wearing a pastel blue baby hat. Munn called him “My Golden Ox Baby, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney” in its version, while Mulaney introduced her son with his signature humor.
“Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He’s got his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer water yet. I’m very much in love with him and his whole business,” Mulaney captioned the photo. “Happy Holidays.”
In September, Mulaney opened up about dating Munn and becoming a father during an appearance on Late night with Seth Meyers. He explained how the parenting journey had helped him navigate his new sobriety, for which he had recently completed a stint in drug and alcohol rehab.
“She dated me right out of convalescence, what they call a reverse take,” Mulaney joked of the relationship. “And that has been very incredible. And she kind of held my hand through this hell. And we’re having a baby together.
Mulaney went on to say that “Olivia and this baby helped me save myself from myself on this first journey of recovery.”
