Popular TV actress Nikki Tamboli started her acting career in the South Indian film industry before rising to prominence through her stint on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 14 where she finished second to another popular TV actress Rubina Dilaik and singer Rahul Vaidya.
Now the actress has recalled one of South India’s horrific film industry experiences in a recent interview where she said she was ‘abused’ by a director and calls it her ‘worst experience”. She added that she even broke down in tears after returning home, although she declined to name the person in question.
“I remember one of my movies from the South, and the director was too mean to me. Not in another way, but he didn’t treat me well on set. Jo simple co dancers, he enjoyed them more than me It literally said ‘kahan se aayi hai yaar yeh’,” Nikki said in her interview with Pinkvilla.
The actress went on to tell the same portal, “I’ll tell you, I even cried after coming home, and my mom and dad are also aware of that. I was filming overseas and I was so tortured by this director that I come home and cry. But I didn’t give up because I knew he would regret it, and he messaged me today too. Time change hota hai na har kisika.
For the uninitiated, Tamboli has appeared in three Southern films to date, namely Chikati Gadilo Chithakotudu (Telugu), Kanchana 3 (Tamil) and Thipparaa Meesam (Telugu).
