He then asked fans for their thoughts on the granite slabs they planned to use for the entire driveway, explaining that they hadn’t decided yet on whether to use light gray and dark gray blocks, or just plain slabs. darker tiles.

He added: ‘So coming back to it, these are the blocks we use for the driveway, on the whole journey, we always decide at the moment, are we going for light and dark, light and darkness, that kind of look or do we just go dark with the granite lining the side, if that makes sense.

Mark and Michelle, whose net worth is estimated at £12million, documented the building process after buying the original property for £1.3million in October 2019.

Building experts have estimated that demolishing and rebuilding the house would cost around £3.5million.

Due to various Covid lockdowns and restrictions, construction was halted after a farmhouse was demolished and construction began on a five-bedroom mansion complete with bar, gym, granny annex and outdoor swimming pool .

“It’s been a long process so far and still a long way to go, but sooner or later we’ll have the house we never could have dreamed of.”
