She said her weight loss was due to cutting out junk food and alcohol, physical activity and using an electromagnetic muscle stimulation device.

Jo, who shot to fame on MAFS in 2018, admitted she was hesitant to detail her weight loss due to her lack of health and fitness credentials.

“I’m just a mom of two beautiful kids. What works for me won’t necessarily work for you. I’ve been dedicated, strict, and mentally everything I wanted to be,” she said.

“That’s how I achieve my goals. No surgery, no major story. It was a damn hard job, mentally and emotionally. Every day I want certain foods, but I look at my two beautiful children and I want a better quality of life for everyone.

“I quit junk food, all my carbs and most alcohol. It’s a lifestyle change. I was lucky to lose weight, but keeping it off is the hardest part.

“All I did that was different was the meal plan,” she explained. “I quit junk food, I quit soda, I quit Mother energy drinks,” she said.
