‘And he thinks, ‘Oh, that’s my way of showing some things.’ And I said, ‘It’s not mine’, like I was very talkative [it].’
Selin said viewers rushed to vilify her for “rejecting” Anthony when there was so much more going on that they didn’t see.
“A lot of women … sting me, but it’s like I’m standing up for myself where I guess people don’t see that,” she said.
Complaints: Selin said she didn’t feel comfortable with Anthony’s behavior during their marriage
Selin also opened up about her behavior on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa on Tuesday, insisting she was a “bottle of wine” while having dinner with Anthony.
“I just think viewers need to understand that they’re seeing 1% of everything that’s happened. It’s 1% of everything,” she said.
Selin claimed that she actually tried to discuss her feelings with Anthony before dinner and even sat next to him in hopes of working things out.

However, Selin claimed that when she tried to talk to him, she was “rejected”.
“I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but I sat next to him at dinner before I came to the table, and I tried to talk to him and got rejected.
“So when it comes to the end of the night and I was, you know, maybe a bottle of wine unfortunately arrived at that point, I didn’t want to listen. And yes, I could have drawn a line in the sand.
False: A production insider told Daily Mail Australia that things got worse just minutes after the couple checked into their honeymoon suite
Meanwhile, a production insider told Daily Mail Australia that things got worse just minutes after the couple checked into their honeymoon suite.
They apparently had a fight from the start when Selin told her to sleep on the couch, saying, “I don’t know you, but I want you to know.”
The source also alleged that Anthony’s gentlemanly behavior that was on display at their wedding did not continue on their honeymoon.
“The minute the cameras stopped rolling, he completely turned off this ‘let me open the door for you, let me do this for you’ and it’s still day one,” they claimed.
Selin apparently had a hard time connecting with Anthony when she saw this change.
