Kyle Sandilands reveals he wants ‘a gay grandson’

Kyle Sandilands revealed on Monday that he and his fiancée Tegan Kynaston are expecting their first child.

Speaking on his radio show KIIS FM, the shock athlete, 50, explained whether he would like a boy or a girl.

He said he was hoping for “either a daughter…or a gay grandson”, before praising his partner’s “beautiful big plump breasts” since pregnancy.

The couple learned Kynaston, 36, was expecting last week.

‘We’re having a baby!’ Sandilands said on his radio show, to loud applause from the entire KIIS FM studio.

Sandilands said his manager, Bruno Bouchet, had to deflect questions from reporters after Kynaston was seen sporting a slight bump in public on February 2.

He then joked that he planned to hire a “dozen Fijian nannies” once the baby was born.

Kynaston, who is three months pregnant, also revealed her fiancé has been busy preparing for their child’s arrival, even helping pick out cribs.

Sandilands and Kynaston, who got engaged in Queensland over the Christmas holidays, started trying for a baby last year.

The former Australian Idol judge confirmed in December that he had been given the ‘green light’ after undergoing fertility tests.

He told Daily Mail Australia: “I was really nervous [about the fertility test] until he came back saying, “Yeah, it’s okay, it’s okay.”

‘[Tegan] is all good, of course. She is a young and healthy woman. It is therefore good to know that all is well in this area so as not to interfere with future projects.
