Kanye West Makes Sherp ATV Appearance in Super Bowl Ad for McDonald’s

Kanye ‘Ye’ West made an appearance in a McDonald’s Super Bowl LVI commercial on Sunday.

West, 44, emerged at the end of a spot for the fast-food giant in which a series of customers expressed pause when asked what they wanted to eat, saying, “Then- I get uhhhhhh.”

In the ad, which aired before kickoff, the Grammy-winning entertainer drove into the establishment’s drive-thru in a black Sherp ATV, expressing the same indecision when deciding what to order .

Other notable names to appear in the clip include NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and FIFA Twitch streamer Edwin Castro.

McDonald’s said in a press release that the ad was based on the “universal fan truth” that “sometimes you just can’t decide what to order.”

West has expressed his love for the establishment before, tweeting in 2018, “McDonald’s is my favorite restaurant.”

West in 2016 wrote a poem called The McDonald’s Man for Boys Don’t Cry, a magazine by Frank Ocean that was released with Ocean’s album Blonde.

The poem included references to menu items such as the company’s French fries, McNuggets, and seasonal McRib sandwich.

West shares children North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The celebrity entertainer was in attendance at the game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., along with North and Saint, and sat down with fellow musical artists 2 Chainz and Tyga.

Earlier Sunday, West slammed SNL comedian Pete Davidson in a series of social media posts amid the comedian’s ongoing romance with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He noted on the site that his account had not been hacked, guaranteeing the authenticity of the controversial posts.

Super Bowl LVI – in which the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 – featured a halftime show featuring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg.
