Jennifer Lopez shared that she and Ben Affleck were taken aback by their rekindled romance.

“Yeah, I don’t think anyone was more surprised than us,” Jennifer, 52, laughed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week.

‘Bennifer’ was one of the hottest early years couples until their engagement fell apart in 2004 – only to reunite last year.

“Did you ever imagine it would come full circle and end like this?” Ellen asked Jennifer on her chat show.

“No, you could never imagine something like this could happen,” the Jenny From The Block hitmaker said. “It’s a beautiful thing.”

Jennifer, who was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to plug her new movie Marry Me, confirmed on air that she is “in love” with Ben.

She also revealed that she and Ben sneak into the ‘bathroom’ when they need ‘private time’ to ‘talk, do things’ away from their respective children.

After a whirlwind of rumours, it was confirmed last May that Jennifer and Ben had decided to give their romance another shot.

Bennifer, who starred in the 2003 flop Gigli, first became a couple in 2002 following her split from second husband Cris Judd.

Although JLo and Ben planned to get married in 2003, they postponed the wedding, then finally in 2004 they broke off the engagement entirely.

“I think Jen and I made a mistake in that we fell in love, we were turned on and maybe too approachable,” Ben said in 2008.

“I don’t think any of us anticipated how much of a world it would take,” he told British television.
