DJ Mustard files for divorce from longtime partner Chanel Thierry, citing irreconcilable differences

DJ Mustard filed for divorce from his wife Chanel Thierry on Monday.

The record producer, 31, cited irreconcilable differences with his longtime partner, 30, in divorce papers.

He also listed the date of the separation as Monday, which gives the impression that the divorce ruling was not preceded by a separation, TMZ reported.

Dijon-born 100 Bands producer Isaiah McFarlane started dating Thierry over a decade ago, although they only tied the knot in October 2020.

The couple share three children aged 2 to 10.

In his divorce filing, Mustard claimed the couple had a prenuptial agreement.

Thierry is a model and owns his own loungewear company called Sleepova. She is very present on YouTube under the name of ChanelDijon.

Mustard has worked with a number of major rap stars including YG, Ty Dolla Sign and Migos.

He has three Grammy nominations and one win. He won Best R&B Song for his work on Ella Mai’s Boo’d Up in 2019.

The Los Angeles native has enjoyed some mainstream success, earning him multiple gold, platinum, and multi-platinum albums during his illustrious career.

Some of his most popular songs include Roddy Ricch’s Ballin’, 100 Bands alongside Quavo, 21 Savage, YG and Meek Mill and Pure Water which he collaborated on with Migos.

His songs are usually marked with his signature phrase “Mustard on the beat, ho!”
